CPP Leader Receives Delegation of CLV Party Young Leaders’ Training Programme

Phnom Penh, July 11, 2024 – President of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), Hun Sen, held a meeting with the 50 participants of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Young Party Leaders’ Training Programme at the 7 January Palace in Phnom Penh this morning.

The meeting underscored Hun Sen’s commitment to training young leaders from the ruling parties of the CLV countries. He urged the participants to further strengthen the traditional friendship, solidarity, and long-term cooperation in all fields between the parties of the three neighboring countries.

On September 26, 2021, the leaders of the CLV ruling parties unanimously agreed to organize training for their young leaders. This year, the CPP hosted the second training course from July 1 to 10.

The training of CLV young party leaders plays a crucial role in cultivating outstanding young individuals to participate more actively in the development of their countries. It also aims to strengthen friendship, solidarity, and cooperation for the progress and prosperity of the CLV people and the countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
